Since its first grants in 2013, The Harry and Mary Foundation has distributed more than £2m to a wide variety of charitable organisations across the Bradford district. The positive impact of these donations has been greatly appreciated by over 30 local charities in areas ranging from youth projects and community groups to food banks and state-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities. Thus improving the quality of life for the numerous users of these services. Virtually all of these exceptional charities have had to adapt, and in some cases redesign, their provision during the Pandemic. Their versatility and ability to rise to the challenge of Covid 19 have been impressive.

Two local hospices have been long-term partners, both of which were recipients of those initial grants in 2013, via The Rotary Club of Skipton Santa Fun Run. Both hospices are at the cutting edge supporting those with life-limiting illnesses and of providing palliative care. Establishing such long-term relationships is key to the Foundation's values and allows beneficiaries to plan more efficiently.
